Do I need prior clay experience?↓
No. Beginner classes begin with material handling and simple forms. Intermediate and advanced listings explain the techniques expected before you book.
What tools are provided?↓
Shared studio tools, basic ribs, needles, sponges, and modeling tools are available. Each class listing names any special materials used.
What should I wear?↓
Wear comfortable clothing that can handle dust and a closed-toe shoe. Aprons are available, but clay can still travel home with you.
Are classes suitable for younger makers?↓
Please contact the studio before booking for a young participant. We consider the class format, supervision needs, and the maker's comfort with shared tools.
How does firing work?↓
Work dries slowly before being kiln-fired according to the clay body and studio schedule. We explain safe handling and realistic timing during class.
Can I request an accessibility accommodation?↓
Yes. Contact us before booking so we can discuss seating, tool handling, room movement, communication, and any practical adjustments.
Can I cancel or move a class?↓
Requests are handled according to the booking terms supplied at purchase. Contact the studio as early as possible and include your booking details.
What if my piece cracks or changes in firing?↓
Clay has natural variables. We teach construction and drying practices that reduce avoidable problems, while explaining that firing results cannot be guaranteed.
